Societal pressure shapes who we are and what we present to the world. The overpainting makes this visible: new characters emerge, masculinity is questioned, and identity remains in flux.

DAVINA ist eine Serie über Geschlechterrollen und Identität. Ausgangspunkt ist das Gesicht von David – Ikone klassischer Männlichkeit – das mit Lippenstift übermalt und transformiert wird.
Aus David wird DAVINA. Gesellschaftlicher Druck formt, wer wir sind und was wir nach außen zeigen. Die Übermalungen machen das sichtbar: Neue Charaktere entstehen, Männlichkeit wird hinterfragt, Identität bleibt in Bewegung.
