PERSEUS

Perseus received a shining shield from Athena, a sharp sword and winged sandals from Hermes. With these gifts he defeated the feared Gorgon Medusa by just looking at her reflection in the shield and beheaded her. He freed with medusas head the enchanting Andromeda from a seamonster.
